About the Sunshine Coast: The area covered by this mapsheet includes Howe Sound and the British Columbia mainland through to the town of Sechelt, representing a vast portion of the mainland coast known as the Sunshine Coast. The northern section is continued on mapsheet #304. Also included is Vancouver and Burrard Inlet, and the Sechelt inlets that can be accessed through Skookumchuck Narrows, as continued in mapsheet #305. Overall the vast central Georgia Basin is included to touch on the Vancouver Island side at Lantzville and the Winchelsea Islands.
